The official start of Autumn is still two weeks away but I am already in a Fall frame of mind. The temperatures have been in the low 70's all weekend, sunny and beautiful; a perfect sneak peek of the Fall weather to come.
I find myself looking forward to wearing jeans and long sleeves and pulling my beautiful boots out of carefully packed boxes after their long summer nap. I pulled my lightweight scarves out of storage yesterday and wore a cute little cropped jacket to church today. I'm practically clapping my hands in gleeful anticipation of fashionable Fall days to come.
Do the changing seasons inspire the same responses in anyone else or do I just have too much time on my hands?

I think of fall and what a mess the yard becomes, not cute boots napping in their boxes! I think of winter and my bones ache!!! You definitely have too much time on your hands!
Yes, I feel the same way! I absolutely love the Fall in NYC and it's still a bit hot here, so I can't wait to be at the point where you are. In fact, I just ordered a new pair of Uggs and can't wait to receive them. (BTW, you should really get some for Indy if you don't have them already. I live in mine!) And speaking of shopping...Banana is having 30% off everything but TODAY only! It's for their 30th birthday. Just go to their website and it's on the front page for online and in-store shopping.
