Ring-a-ding-ding

I feel like this comic is the story of my work-life lately - spinning my wheels 8 hours a day and getting absolutely nowhere.

How is it that I can be nearly *gulp!* 30 years old and still not know what I want to be when I grow up? Three years ago I thought I had this all figured out.

Now? I'm waiting on a call for what could be my fifth job in 2 years. This was so not my plan.

Shows you what I know.

I know exactly what you're talking about. At least you're looking for a new job! I spend 10-12 hours a day spinning my wheels...and have at the same job for almost 7 years. Your dream job is out there!

I think it's different now, though. Most people do not expect to find a job and stay in it for 30 years like our parents did. It's a totally different professional environment -- jobs changing constantly. Good luck!

I agree with the comment above. I don't think a lot of people stay their entire career with the same company anymore. I think it's probably best to move around and work where you really love it instead of sitting in one place.

Oh dear...I feel the same. My to do list? Getting longer rather than shorter and so much going on! The comic helps though, for a good laugh!

Checking in to see if there is any word on the job front?

Girl, I'm 32 and I didn't figure out what I was supposed to do until about 1.5 years ago. Before I started FitLab, I literally had 5-6 jobs in two years. It was ridic. Not even b/c I wasn't a hard worker or anything...just moves, the economy, and one job I walked out on, I admit. ;-)
